| ALL HVAC SPEARHEADS A TEAM OF CONTRACTORS FOR THE ABC TV SHOW "EXTREME MAKEOVER: HOME EDITION"
As some of you may be aware, we were recently asked by the Trane Company to organize a team of HVAC contractors to install a heating and air conditioning system in a three-story residential house for the well-known ABC TV show "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition". Our purely volunteer "HVAC Team" was comprised of about twenty eight people representing six different companies, and we installed two complete systems on three floors in just 12 hours. From demolition of the old house to completion of the new building, with all of the furnishings, it was all done in only a six day period! The location was in Queens, NY and the episode aired on May 7th, 2006. There is no guarantee that any of our technicians were seen on the show, but our efforts were not for that reason. We at All HVAC were very excited to be part of this life altering event. This was an incredible experience and it was amazing to work on an "ego-free" job site along with over one hundred other people at the same time. I guess you can describe it as organized chaos with a touch of warmth! It is truly amazing how people can and will come together for the good of others in need. |
